Seems prone to changing his mind a bit of late - probably had them in there then took them out!!sainter58 wrote:Does Not include any saints.

i don't think it's unreasonable. We haven't really had anyone that has stood consistently the whole season. S.Fisher has been good, but he hasn't been tearing the competition apart. Our mids have been average with the exception of Montagna, but he won't get the nod because there are too many before him.

Doubt I'd have any either to be perfectly honest. Maybe Roo and Fisher. Nobody else comes close IMO. While Roo has starred, I don't think he's best at his position this year, and I'd probably take Pavlich second after Brown. To suggest Gilbert would get a berth is a bit too much, no matter how much you love the Saints.

How one-eyed is this forum? Unreal.
I wouldn't pick any of our players in the AA team. Not even close.
Riewoldt maybe, but after that, there'd be nobody.
And so ****ing what if Michael Voss doesn't pick one of our players? Seriously - it's his opinion, let him have it.

chips has had a good year but he will not get a spot. too many ahead of him in his position.

Plenty of guys around who may get a guernsee ahead of Fisher (not saying any/all deserve it, but it wouldn't shock to see 6 guys in ahead of Fisher).ausfatcat wrote:just curious who would you put in front of chips in a pocket or half flank, because I struggle to think of too many.
Matty Scarlett, Dustin Fletcher, C. Cornes (doesn't generally play CHB, but that's never stopped them selecting him there before), J Bowden (possession master. It'd be interesting to see him play on a better team), Heath Shaw, Andrew Macleod, Luke Hodge has spent some time roaming the half back line, I believe Voss had Malceski in, who I haven't seen that much of (avoid watching Sydney games generally), and Campbell Brown, Jarrad Waite is probably a longshot, but a possibility, Jed Adcock, Firrito, Milburn, Egan... and given the way that AA selection tends to go, someone could be selected totally from left field - WA selector and SA selector often get a guy in who isn't on the radar here in Vic, and I didn't name any dockers.
Again, not to say either Fisher hasn't had a great season, or that any of these players should/shouldn't go in front of him, but he's certainly not a lock for a spot.
