Would seem to be confirmed now......with what is unknown being how long he will be out.
It seems to like what the GTrain did......and Gtrain elected to play on and have the surgery post -season.
A player doing this risks ong term impairment though.

can anyone save me the effort of looking up who we were missing when we beat the eagles?
pretty sure we went their light some of the players we have now.
if ball and lenny front up, and possibly harvey as well, we will be stronger when we did them at their home ground and they will be weaker than the side that we did over back in round 12.
should be in our favour

It's good for us in the short term, but the champagne corks will really be popping down Geelong way. All Geelong needs now is for the Swans to miss out on the 8 (very achievable) and they are going to be so hot for the flag they will be on fire.
Oddly enough, our chances of meeting the Cats in the GF would also have to be much better now: assuming we can make the 8 in the first place.
It's a funny thing, but I reckon we would beat the Cats almost for certain in a GF at the MCG, although it would help things greatly if we could get Baker's suspension reduced enough for him to be available to play on GA jnr

They were missing Judd, Cousins, Hansen and Embley then.
We were missing Gehrig and Goose.
This time we will be missing Harvey, Hudghton and probably Bakes.
they will be missing Kerr, Embley, and possibly Judd, Waters and Chick.
Cousins also no certainty but will probably play.
Probably similarly placed from last time.

mmm we need to bring the passion we did to the WCE game last time on harvey's 350th to this game.HarveysDeciple wrote:They were missing Judd, Cousins, Hansen and Embley then.

we need to bring the confidence we brought to the freo game to this game.
We know that the WCE team can be pushed and even beaten without their stars.
heck freo lifted to beat WCE and we nobbled them (not saying a>B, B>C therefore A>C works in AFL)

in a completely UNRELATED issue, I believe some drugs tested for take between 1 month and 3 months to be out of your system.
EPO is out in 48 hours?
6 weeks is the end of the season right? and the AFL drug testing regime then changes to a different set of tests?
not at ALL linking the two issues, just another issue about football off the front pages atm.

Kerr out for five to six weeks

News
STAR West Coast midfielder Daniel Kerr is in danger of missing the rest of the season after rupturing a tendon on the ring finger of his left hand.
Kerr will have surgery on Wednesday to repair the damage, which the Eagles say will keep him out for five to six weeks.
In a statement, the club said Kerr injured the finger during last Saturday’s match with Richmond and spent several days considering his options before deciding, in consultation with Eagles medical staff, that he would undergo corrective surgery.
The statement suggested Kerr could still play this year “if the club plays deep into the finals series.
“It is the same injury that caused centre half-forward Ashley Hansen to miss six weeks earlier this season.â€

Dan...has the Baker incident loosened a few screws or what???.
Of late you seem to be spamming strings such as this one with constant rubbish....or starting new ones.
Now the occassional joke is fine....but how about staying on topic and fooball????

that said I guess abusive humour re: the tribunal is a method of dealing with my rage and anger at what I see as an absolute stitch up.
as for kerr, I really dont give a rats about his misfortune and am more than happy to heap derision and abuse at that dungheap of a club and their players.
