ST KILDA stars Robert Harvey and Max Hudghton will both miss Friday night's crucial match against West Coast through injury.
Both players had scans on Monday after sustaining quadriceps injuries during Saturday's win over Fremantle.
Football operations manager Ken Sheldon said with only a six-day break between games, Harvey and Hudghton would miss the Eagles clash.
But the club was hopeful they could both recover in time to play against Richmond in the following round.
Sheldon said ruckman Justin Koschitzke, a late withdrawal from Saturday's match because of soreness, and Luke Ball, who spent some time on the bench with a thigh problem, would both play against the Eagles.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Not surprised with Harvs ... I have a feeling that if we had been playing Sunday, he would have been right to go.
But very surprised with Maxie ... given his history this year too.
Oh well ... let's hope both are back up and running, and we can give Harvs a shot at the finals by winning this week.

Kinda expected Harvey to be not playing this Friday. As for Max, if he were to come back for the Richmond game, that would be a pleasant surprise considering he missed 7 weeks with a quad strain earlier in the year.
