Rix V Blake
Well, some on here have seen a poster's comments on Blake from last year and this poster's comments about Blake up against Sandilands in Tassie...
The picture of a monkeys laughing rings a bell
In that game Blake had 20 Hitouts and 24 disposals...
Now, tell me when ever Rix has reached that dizzy heights
Today Blake stats read as this
15 disposals
15 hitouts
and 4 tackles...
Gee, has Rix ever reached that stat ?:
Answer NO
time for you to give it up, and maybe time for you to apologize for the continuous insult you direct to Blake...
It's really coming to be pathetic IMO :

Re: Rix V Blake
agree. bottom line is that the midfield looks a lot stronger with blake in there.
i'm a bit of the philosophy that ruckman have to do more than win tapouts and blake certainly provides plenty around the ground and holds his own in the tapouts a lot of the time

Blake had a good game today, but he wasn't up against much in the ruck
and i don't think him and Rix are competing for the same spot
i think Rix and CLarke would be a better debate, as i don't think Clarke touched the ball much around the ground today....

Blake played a very good game today...not as good as his Tassie one which was superb...or one other game he played this year which was also superb.
however Blake was against Gilmore today....with Clarke on the Big W.
Blake beat his man....but on the other hand Gilmore is no star.
Still you can only beat who you are on.
More IMPORTANTLY for me today Blake used the ball very well....which has been his undoing.
So congrats to Blake and lets hope he can keep up such balll use.

I was really going on last year's sabotage of this site....
and the confrontation of our coach during match day...
Pretty simple really...
Blake is far better than Rix....
IS THAT SIMPLE ENOUGH

Well then, shouldn't someone be be held responsible ???midas_touch wrote:I can see where this is going......
*waits for 3-4 pages of requoting/abuse*
after all we have had read enough of Rix and in some way abuse of Blake...
IMO Blake has done his job
IMO Rix is ordinary to say the lest ...
Last year we have all heard about this Rix, and that our previous coach failed to pick him in games (the poster thought) were crucial ...
So....
Can Rix produce 15 possessions and 15 hitouts???
I doubt it

Rix cops his fair share of criticism here
Besides they are different players, Rix is a ruckman, Blake is a key position tall/utilty ruck.
Blake has been playing well this year, and his contribution has been very good.
But if Sandilands was playing Rix would have been in the side.
