I agree, although he wasnt up against a Cox or another monster, I reckon he did alright and once Kosi gets back should be used more around the ground.
What was wrong with Kosi by the way???

Followed Saints since '71
Sir Robert Harvey was my favorite player
Stewie Lowe and Plugger before that.
Loved watching Rooey and Jack Steven
Now looking forward to the future
Some people make things happen, some people watch things happen, but most just say " What the f#&k happened!".

To be fair, he's not a ruckman's ********, it just helped that Gilmour is a midfielder playing in the ruck.
Blake wasn't the worst today but I absolutely fear what will happen when he fronts up against a good team with a good ruckman in a pressure-cooker type atmosphere.
Next week will be a better test for him to see where he is really at.

To be fair to RL I would be very surprised if Blake was picked as a ruckman next week. From what I saw of the Eagles tonight he may have to go back and play on either Lynch or Seaby/Cox in the last line of defence. I think Kosi/Clark will both play next week.evertonfc wrote:To be fair, he's not a ruckman's ********, it just helped that Gilmour is a midfielder playing in the ruck.
