Between Saturday night and now there have been reports ranging from cramp to PCL. I have my fingers (and everything else ) crossed that it was only cramp. Does anyone know exactly what his injury status is? !!
Me too! Keep checking this site and others for any news. Sorry - but I left room when Swans got 17 points in front and missed Gilbert going down. When I returned I was told that he could have done a ACL or PCL? Has anyone phoned the club? Plugger says he spoke to Sam and he said he was ok.
Got tackled last in the last quarter and land on his left knee i think.
clutched at it and called to the bench immediatly. Didnt seem to be in pain, so hopefully nothing serious.
geewiz that hurts more then the loss having gilbo go down he was having a great year
i hope its just a slight jarring then a ACL or MCL if its an ACL he will mis almost half of next year too

I think things might be o.k. for sam. Not mentioned as injured in most game reports. Herald sun I think it was said he would be meeting with saints medical staff during the week but it was hoped he would play this week. Doesn't sound too worrying to me thank goodness.
just had a look on the herlad sun site it has the updated injury lists for all clubs and gilbet wasn't on our list at all updated today www.heraldsun.com.au

mean jack shyte those injury lists.
Because those media hacks don't understand as we do how good a player Gilbo has become means they don't really care about it.
We do though, and that's the reason IMO they have made no mention - ie. "scans are clear" or "it was a minor strain and he'll be right" kinda spin.....
Davo - are you able to put us worry warts minds to rest once and for all perlease???!
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
right hand side video section of Ross speaking on G and the boys at training- with Gilbert atleast doing stationary work EDIT- with lots of strapping on knee
