Ladhams or Soldo who should we recruit

I was just wondering which of the 2 in Ladhams or Soldo would be better for the Saints.

Ladhams is 26-27 in January 2025 204cm and played 53 games 27 goals but below average in every category.
He has 1 year left on his contract and cant get games due to Grundy and Mclean doing the rucking
And with Dalrymple now at the club from Sydney this deal hopefully should be done pretty easily as we work well with Sydney without much coast to the Saints

Slodo is 28- 29 in April 2025 204cm played 65 games 28 goals he is Average in 3 of the 6 category's and Above average in 1.
A deal for Soldo could be difficult as Port gave up a lot to get him and might want a lot back.
He has also played in a Premiership with Richmond so has that experience.
He still has 1 year on his contract.
He does get injured quite a lot so that is something we need to take into consideration.

The saints need to work out who would be the best fit for us and who would we likely get at the cheapest price.

I'm not saying she doesn't look good, It is just not a look I find attractive.

From the article it looks like she's gone from flying Soldo to flying Solo after living in Adelaide for a year!

I think there are better qualified people to make that call.

Go back and watch the game against Brisbane and/ or first half against Cats to see why we might need another option to help out in the ruck. We all know Marshall is our first option and brilliant around the ground ..but his tap work in the centre is questionable.. same time he gets injured and we are screwed !

If it was or the other I would go Saddam's as he would cost virtually nothing. Where as Port are going to want to recoup some of their losses on Soldo. I don't really want either I would have preferred to keep Campbell as backup ruck.
It seems though that Ross has a plan to play both Soldo and Roma as otherwise paying for a pure backup player when you already have one makes no sense.

What if Rowan does a knee in Round 1. Season over for the saints? Hayes is a crystal vase. Owen's too valuable and not big enough to be number 1. Out other backup rucks are a long way off AFL level.

Should have kept Campell for another season if we're talking Soldo or other fringe rucks- might have been an opportunity to get Heath some senior game time in the ruck, as if he can't start knocking the door down at Sandy and crack a senior game next season, then his days might be numbered. Owens is not a ruck, just a strong body and who had an ordinary season, or even went slightly backwards- should be tried in the back half. Hayes is yet to sign anything so may be out the door too?
