I'm not entirely convinced the perpetrator isn't, or wasn't, a member of the Carlscum Cheer Squad.

I wouldn't trust those arseholes for a minute. Easy to wipe the membership records as well.

The AFL's integrity unit is a joke as well. It makes Insp. Clouseau look like Sherlock Holmes.

As ace and SaintPav have also pointed out, the threat of lifetime bans is just a bluff. There is no easy nor reasonable way of enforcing it. The AFL becomes a joke when it starts acting like a 3rd world dictator.

This is one of the reasons not to become a cashless economy.

Programable Digital Currency is akin to China’s social credit score system.

Although you could argue the Genie is already out of the bottle.
Privacy is an important benefit that will be lost. Cash is also a bearer instrument which is also important in a fractional reserve banking system.

People’s views on this topic is a sign of their general intelligence and knowledge of how the financial system really works. Young people who can only see the convenience of digital payments are particularly clueless.

SaintPav wins the interwebs this week for the correct and relevant use of the word "Panopticon".

Pure genius, old boy. I only wish I'd thought of it first! :D :D :D

The uber-rich elite in charge of the global economy want us to live in 15 minute cities, they don't want us owning houses, and they want to control our spending.

Control of populations is their prime objectives.
COVID was an incredibly pertinent method (for them) to see what their ideal world would look like.

QR codes to track exactly where we went.
Big fines levied if you strayed >15 minutes from home.
It was never 'distance', it was 'time'.

They now have massive amounts of data on our movements, spending, etc.
And they have a prototype template to help their planning around how to control us in the future.
The Hunger Games was a prediction of our (dystopian) future.
