Smash Carlton out of the finals on the last round of the season
Not may results would make me happier, perhaps only the bombers who I loath more than the blues
Let’s smash the clowns out of the 8 and the finals! Kaboom!!

I'm not sure Damo is convinced of the false form. What a f****** moron!

If we can’t win it…
Then yeah, this would make the season worthwhile

Mitch McGovern touch and go. I hope we destroy them. I hate Damo. Can’t stand the prick.

That's about 3 inside 50 free kicks that Carlton miss out on
Should give our boys even more confidence to knock them over

To fulfil this awesome prospect, after smashing the Scum, we would still need Freo to win on Sunday

I think Carlton will make the top 8 and play finals because Port will beat Fremantle and Giants will beat the Bulldogs.
But we'll beat them tomorrow. I hope we play four quarters and cruise to victory, so I can just relax and enjoy the second half.

Torn, as a win tomorrow means we drop from pick 5 to 7 in the draft…

Re: Smash Carlton out of the finals on the last round of the season
I agree I hate losing to anyone especially Carlton, but a win will put us in no mans and as far as benefiting at the draft. I read an interesting stat last night, that Carlton have only won 2 last season games in the past 25 years. So the odds are pretty slim of a loss so bugger it Go Saints kick their arses.

But the lowest draft picks are not necessarily the best and it'd be good for our players to go away with a good flogging to Carlton behind them - even though I like Vossy.

It's an away game - so we will be at a disadvantage - pity it is not our home game where we know the ground.

I think the Suns will win today mate. And they should win by 50 points+.SteeleSaints wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2024 11:26amI agree I hate losing to anyone especially Carlton, but a win will put us in no mans and as far as benefiting at the draft. If they do that we stay where we are, because the Suns should finish above us unless we have an absolute day out.
The question I find myself asking at this stage is why do the Crows suck so bad? Every time they play us they look skillful and well drilled. And their forward line looks great too. I don't get it.

Mentally weak maybe. They're still a relatively young team so their form will be up and down.samuraisaint wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2024 4:26pm

Re: Smash Carlton out of the finals on the last round of the season
I’d quite happily trade pick 5 for pick 7 & a win over Carlton. Especially if it means they miss September.
Anyone who thinks otherwise was born after 1995.

Re: Smash Carlton out of the finals on the last round of the season
Seriously, Carlton should be way more motivated than us. If they can't beat us, even with injuries, they are as weak as piss.
It would be great to knock them out of Finals, however we would slide 2 draft places.

Re: Smash Carlton out of the finals on the last round of the season
Honestly pick 5->7 is inconsequential
As we know so much comes from the will of the player and the development from the club, less the position they’re taken as a 17/18 year old
I’d take the win any day of the week
