Mattaes Phillipou will don the red, white and black once again in 2024 as St Kilda looks to close out its season on a promising note over Carlton.
Phillipou has missed the Saints' past two matches against Richmond and Geelong with illness — which interrupted his impressive return following a stretch in the VFL — but has since turned the corner to feature on Sunday.
The 19-year-old midfielder replaces Anthony Caminiti in the starting line-up, who re-injured his shoulder in the final moments of last week's win over Geelong.
Angus McLennan, Jack Hayes and Tom Campbell have been named as emergencies.
St Kilda and Carlton will meet at Marvel Stadium on Sunday 25 August, commencing at 3:20pm.
