If were ever going to be any good we have to beat the better sides more often and so finishing 12th will give us a bit harder FIXture. I heard on the replay from the Cats game that them and Sydney are the only top 8 teams we've beaten this year (at the time of playing the other teams - I believe).desertsaint wrote: ↑Wed 21 Aug 2024 10:57pm in real danger of finishing twelth - worst possible position to finish.

Gold Coast were 8th when we beat them.
Essendon were 8th when we beat them.

Re: Changes vs Carlton
I disagree, the only advantage we have over Carlton is speed on the outside so why would we bring in Campbell or Hayes.
We need to run and spread as much as possible to expose their lack of speed.

Yep, fair enough if we can deliver accurately to the small mobile forwards. However, what happens if we have to rely on pack marking?

By the way, for mobility, hands below the knees and stuff like that - it would be Hayes rather than Campbell.Stian wrote: ↑Thu 22 Aug 2024 8:40pmYep, fair enough if we can deliver accurately to the small mobile forwards. However, what happens if we have to rely on pack marking?

A lot of our goals last week were chaos balls into F50.Stian wrote: ↑Thu 22 Aug 2024 8:40pmYep, fair enough if we can deliver accurately to the small mobile forwards. However, what happens if we have to rely on pack marking?
Sharman's goal after Skunk and he crashed 3 Pussies
Higgo's goal about 25-30 out when Owens crashed a pack with Skunk.
Wilson's first goal
Higgo's goal in 2nd qtr from Cooper handpass
Marshall
Skunk
Wood from a one on one

Re: Changes vs Carlton
OK, I get your point - but do you still want a big body to crash the packs? (Although, I can see that Sharman, Skunk and Owens are all playing.)WellardSaint wrote: ↑Thu 22 Aug 2024 8:49pmA lot of our goals last week were chaos balls into F50.Stian wrote: ↑Thu 22 Aug 2024 8:40pmYep, fair enough if we can deliver accurately to the small mobile forwards.
