Some speculation that, should we lose Josh Battle, we could offer the consolation pick to Port as part of a deal for Dan Houston. Thoughts?

Gun player, but wouldn’t we just keep Battle by paying more than we have offered, than let him go and pay a similar player (although an upgraded version of Battle) a far bigger contract than Battle?
