Think you are probably right SaintPav first round pick for Josh is unlikely, AFL is more likely to give the filth a
priority pick for missing the finals than us getting first round compensation for any of our players.

Last year we traded pick 17 (James Leake) to GWS in exchange for pick 18 (Darcy Wilson), and a 2024 second rounder (currently pick 24) which they had received from Adelaide in a separate trade
Has worked out reasonably well for us given Adelaide had a drop off this year, basically replaces our pick which was sent to Freo in the Liam Henry trade

After the trades we ended up with the Crows second round draft pick, which is currently one better than our original one.

GWS gave us Adelaide's second round pick (which they were holding) in exchange for moving one position up the first round of the 2023 draft so they could secure James Leake, player they were keen on. An absolute gift to us from GWS. It meant that we effectively got Liam Henry for nothing, with GWS kindly replacing the pick we gave up for him.
