We should have been selective when we recruited McCartin, etc.., when the shoe was on our foot.
A few free kicks going against us (now and again) are just flesh wounds, now.
We have no control over that.
Our anger should be directed to the home-grown saboteurs ... for their incompetence.
We should save it for them ... don't waste your energy outside of that.

Less of a blight of the umpires and more that players are coached to play for the free.
Brisbane and Hawthorn are the worst offenders, leading with the head and raising the arm.
Some umpires are aware of it but teams still get an advantage by playing for frees.
Until players are punished for playing for frees in this way (MRO is acceptable), then nothing will change.
