Four years ago at Marvel I called out to him asking him if he'd finally finished his house yet, and only one guy who was around my age sitting in our area got it and started laughing.

I don't know, but looking at that team we should be winning by over 50 points.

BUMP
West Coast aren't pushovers. When we played them in Rnd 19, they had Yeo out along with these three guys
Different outfit when Yeo, McGovern, Duggan and Waterman are in their side.

Great win by the Eagles over the Suns.
Damien hasn't been much chop since he dumped Mrs Hardwick, she did more than we knew.

Re: McGovern, Duggan and Waterman out for Eagles
Sure, but we had a few out too, and remember we beat them in Perth with all of those guys in.
But really, how bad are the Gold Coast Suns? They should have won last night in an absolute canter. They have had an embarrassment of concessions and all of the AFL handouts they could possibly get, as well as a full list apart from Miller atm, and will miss out on finals yet again. I can't believe Noah Anderson chose them over us or Hawthorn. Compare what they got/get with what Brisbane Bears got, but even they played finals in 1995 and 1996. And then there's us, the team who couldn't win a game for our first four years, and not many in our first seven, but still played consecutive finals series in 1907-8 and played off in a Grand Final in 1913.
I did tip this early this year when many out there thought they were montys to play their maiden final series because of their pathetic effort against North Melbourne in the final round of last year when North kicked 20 goals against them in Hobart, but I am now beginning to honestly believe that they will fold/merge/relocate before they ever see the MCG in September.

Hardwick may be hard and brilliant but it seems to be helpful to a CV to have a D. Martin in his prime.
To change a culture there has to be a complete clean out, like Bassett has engineered with us. Then you can progress.
A president with a perm and is a Jimmy Buffet impersonator , for goodness sake. Big headache for the ever conflicted AFL HQ.
