It feels like in recent years this is the game where we would do the same job defensively, but the forwards would back off the effort late in the third and we would have finished with about 11.11. It has been so good to see no letting up for the full game

Gee. We had like a million i50’s. Members played really well but to me doesn’t look nearly as sharp, agile as he used to be. No vertical leaps to take marks just workrate. Not bagging him, and in actual fact he played great, but I’m not convinced. This wasn’t the ‘egg on your face’ game you’re talking it up to be. He plays well against bombers, kicks half as many and has half as many possessions he’ll still have done very well and he’ll start to convince people.

For now, let’s just enjoy him and the win today
