Izac Rankin
Heavy bump miles off the ball should see him missing two.
Let’s see how the MRP go.

Let's hope we can take advantage of his suspension.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Izac Rankin
Wow 4 is heavy.
Izak was pretty much stopped and Scarcevich was totally unaware and ran into him.
MRO is a farce.
Ohh.. there goes the blue moon. One and only time that I will defend Adelaide.

Well, there goes the Crows overtaking us on the ladder.
I can see us beating them over there this weekend now.

Re: Izac Rankin
Rankin will get 3
They have plenty of good players, I’d tip them over there in a close one, aided by crowd based umpiring
At Marvel we’d win by 8 goals

Re: Izac Rankin
Agreed on both counts, but I also meant that they will struggle for wins generally if Izak is out for a month. They might get over us, but they will struggle to win any more while he's out making it impossible for them to finish above us on the ladder at the end of the year.
I mean, look at us when Higgo was out. Hard to replace guys like Rankin when you are struggling anyway.
We are two points ahead of them now, and I would back us to beat the Eagles and Tigers at Marvel so that's two more wins we'll get this year.

Re: Izac Rankin
What a truly bizarre assessment of the incident.
Rankine clearly bumped a player that was not, and should not have been, expecting that kind of contact.
It was intentional. It was high. It was severe. Totally uncalled for and cowardly. Exactly the sort of incident that deserves four weeks.
From the AFL Site...
The Crows argued the incident should be graded as careless rather than intentional, which would have resulted in a three-match ban instead of four matches.
"The clash of heads was accidental. You cannot be satisfied that Rankine intended high contact," Adelaide's lawyer Andrew Culshaw said.
When are clubs and players going to learn that if you elect to bump or strike off the play, then it's intentional? Where you get them is irrelevant.

Re: Izac Rankin
I agree we're a good chance considering how well we played for the second half of our game against Sydneysamuraisaint wrote: ↑Tue 09 Jul 2024 4:33pm Well, there goes the Crows overtaking us on the ladder.

They won't be prepared for our new style of footy. Rankin is a huge loss for them.
Without Windhager it'll be difficult but if we can match their midfield (control Dawson and Rochelle), I think it'll be very close
