Liam Henry, Dougal Howard, Mson Wood, Jimmy Webster
All have missed large chunks of the season and as witnessed yesterday play major roles in our gameplan. Not much attention about our wretched run with player availability.
Throw in our best mid of 2023 in Crouch and we've had a terrible run.

Teams have more than others its part of footy. We have been hit harder than most.

And
Umpires make no difference to the results of games.
Draw is fair
Draft doesn't favour big clubs.
Good players play through pain and injury.
Moore doesn't use his knees as a weapon because he is articulate.
The list of dismissive truisms is heart-warming stuff for the young supporters not yet wise in the ways of the world.

Injuries, I can cop…it’s the suspensions that have added to upsetting our balance and team line up.
Webster got hit with a 7 week ban. That would have been 2 or 3 in previous years
The legal cases surrounding concussion added an extra dimension to Aliir getting a head knock
It cost Higgins 3 weeks when all he did was lay a legitimate tackle.
Crucified by the MRO because Aliir tried doing a cartwheel while he was being brought to ground fairly.
If we had the Carlton defence team he would have been cleared.

Umpires are a part of footy - they make mistakes, are influenced by crowds (especially interstate) some show bias. Again, part of footy.
Draft has favoured the expansion clubs. Not sure how it favours big clubs?
It’s not a draw, that would mean there is an element of randomness - it’s a fixture and it’s far from fair
Depends on the injury as to whether players can play through it.
Moore is very overrated - one of the easiest key defenders to kick goals on

Not to mention Kings suspension after a fantastic game v Collingwood. Lost the next game to Essendon by 3 points. No way a big club player gets done for that.Scollop wrote: ↑Mon 08 Jul 2024 1:00pm Injuries, I can cop…it’s the suspensions that have added to upsetting our balance and team line up.

The King suspension was rubbish. Wouldn’t get cited now in my humble opinion.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.
