If anyone tries to say that’s how we’ve looked to play the last 16 weeks, tell ‘em they’re dreaming!

Great games from two players who cop a fair bit of criticism here.
Ryan Byrnes, probably the best game I have seen him play.
Then Howard, his save in the third quarter could be argued as the catalyst for our comeback.

A wonderful win. EVERYONE lifted. Everyone contributed. The forward line functioned beautifully after half time. Great to see Mattaes rise to the occasion. Liam Henry is a real game-breaker. Nasiah is so cool under pressure. Wilson and Schoenmaker showed poise. I thought Clark and Byrnes had strong moments too.
Our team leaders , Steele and Wilkie, were fantastic.
Very proud of them all.

Interesting to note that the 2 top teams got beaten this weekend and in similar circumstances.
Both got away to a good starts and had good leads but were run over in the end.

The first half was good too, except for the last 5 minutes of the second, which were a disaster.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 17 2024
There were a few things I didn’t like about the first half
Windhager playing at HB
Logan McDonald looked like Wayne Carey in the first q
Warner and Henry running around on their own
