For the bloody life of me…
I cannot remember the last time I attended a game against Port that we actually won
It may have been as long ago as 20 years. When did we last have a win against Port at Docklands?
And why do we keep losing to those gremlins?!?!

Ain't necessarily so. We just can't beat them. Always out coached. Their players are smarter, harder, mentally stronger. We fold whenever it's an arm wrestle. Most disappointing but true. And worse because I detest them. The Fireman wrote: ↑Sun 30 Jun 2024 7:13pm Every loss we have against them is one game closer to a win

For the Bloody Life of me - I can't remember the last time I actually went to the football expecting an exciting, high scoring, free flowing, enjoyable game.
It was cold today
It was the end of a long financial year
It was a horrid time slot
It was a long train trip
If Sainter_Boy had even hinted at not going - I would not have minded

Re: For the bloody life of me…
And in that clip, look at the crowd (lack thereof)
The other question is how long is it since we played Port Adelaide at Docklands?
The absence of crowd is why St Kilda and its players are irrelevant in the opinion of the AFL powerbrokers

The coach cried like a little girl knowing that he saved his job for another week
One game closer
While crying their coach praised his boys for trying hard and playing for him. I wonder if our players and coaches get the corollary.

and before the 2010 game, Port had won 12 out of the last 15. Only beaten them once since under Ratten.Sainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sun 30 Jun 2024 7:48pm14 BLOODY years!Sainternist wrote: ↑Sun 30 Jun 2024 7:39pm Here it is!

Correct. The only win against them since 2012. It was at the Adelaide Oval and none of us in Victoria could attend because we were all lockdown at the time.

Shortened quarters and we were playing in an interstate hub.Sainternist wrote: ↑Sun 30 Jun 2024 10:42pmCorrect. The only win against them since 2012. It was at the Adelaide Oval and none of us in Victoria could attend because we were all lockdown at the time.
Not a real season by any stretch.
Hinkley is practically undefeated against us.
