I don't mind the honesty. He's at least taking ownership of that decision

What I do mind is that you make a decision to drop a player based on poor form over an extended period (Pou has been either poor or below average in his last dozen games)...and then you elevate him after just 1 game at VFL level

Lyon also admitted that Phillipou was happy to keep playing in the magoos. Shows he wanted to convince himself he was worthy. Shows he lacked a bit of confidence
