Re: Mid season draft
Rumours on BF that we are looking at bringing back Daniel McKenzie in the MSD. You would want to hope he has his hamstring & calf issues sorted if there is anything in it.

Re: Mid season draft
Haven’t St Kilda got an agreement with Sandy they would place a Sandy player on their list? Did that agreement kick in this season or is it to start next year?
If it’s this season, maybe that’s why this player is linked to Saints???

That latter part of your sentence is a real Jack Dyerism ain’t it bm? note the smalls not capitals in my reference to you - can’t have another poster getting his knickers in a twist!
Do you know or, am I imagining it that St Kilda have an agreement with Sandy to place a Sandy player on the Saints list? Somewhere in the recess of my mind I think I read or heard this???

Yes, as a part of strengthening our relationship with Sandringham Football Club, beginning from next season, a selected Sandy player would be offered a Rookie spot on the Saints list.

Yes, you remember the Sandy thing correctly, i think the Saints have been having a good look at Hipwell from Sandy, he's often training with them.loris wrote: ↑Fri 17 May 2024 7:06pmI think Sunday was his first game for Sandy, i think he kept going to where the ball ain't.

Loris
By the time you typed bm and then had a thinly veiled jibe at me
Maybe you could have typed Bob Murray
You’re actually a bit nastier than you’d lead people to believe aren’t you?
It was unnecessary - absolutely passive aggressive - and I can see through it

Re: Mid season draft
Ive read Max Hall's name mentioned on a couple of outlets. He is the Box Hill mid who has been improving as the season has gone on.
Koby Ryan from the SANFL looks for like a flanker at AFL level than a genuine mid, but his numbers are good playing through the mids this year.

Re: Mid season draft
Whoever we may draft has to be wary of what the "St Kilda affect" may do to his footballing ability.
