R8 Kangas - 72%
R7 Port - 27%
R6 Bulldogs - 24%
R5 GWS - 11%
R4 Richmond - 0%
R3 Essendon - 9%
R2 Pies - 0%
R1 Cats - DNP
2023 Avg 28.3%
And to the surprise of no one he turns in one of his best ever performances.
33 disposals, 8 clearances, 13 contested possessions, 7 tackles, 9 marks, 7 inside 50s, 2 goal effort is the first such stat line (or better) since GAJ in 2010.
Wonder if this will be a continuing trend of him playing more midfield time

Haha yes. Just have seen him underrated by most on here especially in his earlier years.
I felt the same about Acres and look how he is performing now

I'm like you. I saw real potential in Sincs in his first couple of years.StPeter wrote: ↑Mon 06 May 2024 5:38pmScollop wrote: ↑Mon 06 May 2024 5:13pm Jack Sinclair has bounced back to form with 10 coaches' votes to his name off the back of Saturday's win over the Roos.

I posted on the Mattaes thread about Sinclair getting a severe concussion early in his career which impacted his confidence, but we knew he was a ball winner and he had beautiful disposal skills
Pity about Lethlean and Richo letting go of Blake. He was one of my favourite young players.

Re: Coaches votes Round 8 vs North
I always rated Acres and was disappointed he was Richardson’s fall guy then when he left
As I have out on here before, I asked the question to be told there was no reason other than a view going home to WA would be of benefit to him
And he was not looking to go back to WA, which his return to Carlton has confirmed
Mind you, Wood is doing the Acres job with St Kilda, Wood older and with a better overhead game
The one knock I had on Acres was his overhead work given his size
And, of course, you sometimes run the wings with the ball on the other side of the ground

Mind you, the real positive is that Wilson, Windhager and Wanganeen-Milera all featured in the votes
And the NM full back who was obviously given a specific job and performed - so 4 Votes from the NM Coach?

Not possible
Both coaches gave him 2 votes
Wilson got 4 votes from each coach

Yorkeys - I have to pick you up on this one. It was Hayden Haitana and Bold Personality . Poor old Fine Cotton was not at the racecourse and was totally innocent. Very slow, but innocent.
