Re: Forward Line
Two of the worst judges on SS say he's no good, so bank on it
Bailey Fritsch wasn't drafted until he was 20/21.
Bailey Fritsch goals per game average after 40 games was equal to what Cooper's are. Should Melbourne have given up on Bailey after 40 games?

Re: Forward Line
Didn't Fritsch play most of his first 40 games in defence? Pretty sure he did, switched more permanently to forward late in 2019, his second year. Sharman has been shifted around too, so what relevance is the goals per game average? Stats no more.Scollop wrote: ↑Wed 17 Apr 2024 8:43pmTwo of the worst judges on SS say he's no good, so bank on it

Still, if Sharman can be half the player Fritsch is, I'll be happy.

Re: Forward Line
You're ...sort of right.
He played in all 3 areas of the ground. He played as a forward, as a defender and on the wing.
Do coaches generally take a while to catch on...or is this the preferred development path?
The point I was trying to make was that Fritsch was recruited late like Sharman and was recruited as a forward....like Sharman
