Training reports?
Anyone been to training recently?
Have our injured blokes done the work to come straight back in or will they need match time in the VFL?
Thinking of Howard this week.

Re: Training reports?
That's why I'm keen to know.
Think Cordy as second tall def has a place with Wilkie/Battle playing interceptors.
Cordy can spend time on the bench/forward.
Side like
Cordy Wilkie Stocker
Wang Howard Battle
Roma, Steele, Ross, Sinclair
Hill, Byrnes
Owens Membrey Butler
Sharman King. Higgins
Int:
Bonner (back)
Pou (fwd)
Windy (onball)
Wilson (wing)
Sub
Jones
Out: Cammaniti, Hastie
In: Windhager, Howard

I think we are already too tall for the GWS forward line.nostalgicsaint wrote: ↑Wed 10 Apr 2024 8:41pm That's why I'm keen to know.

Riccardi, Daniels, Greene. Need match ups for all 3.
Talls only need to cover Hogan and Cadman.

Cmon fish fingers. Obviously I was naming the players who were presented to me.Scollop wrote: ↑Thu 11 Apr 2024 9:01pmSo we're leaving Brown on his own are we?nostalgicsaint wrote: ↑Thu 11 Apr 2024 8:22amOtiman wrote: ↑Thu 11 Apr 2024 7:35amI think we are already too tall for the GWS forward line.nostalgicsaint wrote: ↑Wed 10 Apr 2024 8:41pm That's why I'm keen to know.

Hadn't thought of brown. Kind of supports my wish that Howard was fit, available and selected.

You were discussing match ups. Think before you pretend you know what you're on aboutnostalgicsaint wrote: ↑Thu 11 Apr 2024 11:19pmCmon fish fingers. Re: Training reports?
Training Thursday,
It started with King, Hayes, Caminiti and Pou doing goal kicking practice with Wheadon whilst the rest did fitness drills with Alex.
The rehab group was Henry, Clark, Crouch, Paton, Allison and Wood.
After various drills involving small groupings of players the players were split into 2 groups,
1= Sandy Saints, 2/ Saints players for Saturday's game.
Sandy saints players were Collard, Dow, Keeler, Hayes, Howard, Hastie, Arie, Webster, Van Es, Garcia, Campbell, Heath, MclLennan,
Hotton and O'Connell.
I saw more of the Sandy Saints as their match sim was played at the Frawley Centre end of the ground.
That sim was the best i've seen Hayes play/train since he started his long run with injury.
Dow left the match sim and spoke to the Doc and physio on the boundary the collectively the 3 of them headed for the pavilion.
I didn't see Dow again for the rest of the session.
When that ended and they had drinks and shots on goal etc they then had a match sim involving all players bar the rehab group.
Jones took part in the match sim but didn't really stand out, not sure if he's out of form or just struggling for some reason.
The sim ended, more shots on goal and off into the pavilion for an RTB pep talk and party pies, or whatever the dietician feeds them.

Re: Training reports?
interesting , wonder if Dow's injury played up. Hopefully not a set back.
I would expect Crouch, Henry and Wood in best 22 and Webster and Clark pushing that. IN theory that is potentially 5 of best 22 out.
