16th on the ladder
After opening round.
Not the start to the season we were hoping for, a long way back from here to make finals.
Is this another preseason of hope turning into disappointment?

It’d be a brave fan who’d tip against a Suns-Giants GF at this stage.

Re: 16th on the ladder
Before round nothingness, I predicted Collingwood would not make finals, GWS would be premiers and Ben King would win the Coleman, I seem to have gotten off to a flier and it's not even R1 which also seems to further establish my credentials for always being ahead of the curve.meher baba wrote: ↑Sun 10 Mar 2024 5:24pm It’d be a brave fan who’d tip against a Suns-Giants GF at this stage.
Pies to miss the 8 at $5 before this weekend.
Also good money for the Pies to lose their first 3...just wanted to make our game against them more interesting.
Swans just need to do me a favour next week.

Re: 16th on the ladder
Many rivers to cross
And it's only my will that keeps me alive
I've been licked, washed up for years
And I merely survive because of my pride
Many rivers to cross
But just where to begin, I'm playing for time
There are times I find myself
Thinking of committing some dreadful crime
With acknowledgement to Jimmy Cliff who played for the Kingston Trench Town Rowdys, who I believe wear the St Kilda colours eschewing the traditional Rasta Red, White, Black and Green.

Still 16th

Re: 16th on the ladder
I think 16th will be a little on the high side by the end of the year. But we will know more in 5 hours.
