RIP Darryl.
I remember him as a tall athletic type without great skills.

Great skills with molten glass, off the field.

Re: Vale, Darryl Cowie
Thanks for posting this. Friend of mine played footy with him early days and was stoked when I sent him the link. Said he was a talented footballer and quite artistic....

Was big, quick and athletic.
When I fist saw him I thought he’d be a gun.
Very sad the big fella has passed away so young.

Re: Vale, Darryl Cowie
Was a great player in our not so great period. Brought some joy to those cold days at Moorabbin.
Had a really long torp, he looked like he was trying to kick longer than Jeff Fehring at times.
His glass blowing skill is exceptional.
Thanks for the memories and RIP Darryl Cowie.

I am still hurting from 71;
my gut churns thinking of 97;
2009 was agony,
2010a was a pleasure to watch only to be devastated by 2010 b.
It hurts barracking for the Saints

Oh, I didn’t hear about this. Very sad news. His rookie season with St.Kilda was the same year I first started barracking for the Saints
