Re: Hunter Clark signs on for another 2
Wow…. That’s a big deal and an unexpected outcome until recently.
Hopefully this is a signal that he’s committed to the club, committed to do the work and will come into 2024 in the best condition of his life.
We all know he has all the tools… I’d like him to enter the elite category this year. That pushes us towards top 4 territory

Re: Hunter Clark signs on for another 2
Apparently Clark has bought a couple of 2kg dumbbells to do some extra work before pre-season starts.
The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.

Good outcome. Here’s hoping he is mostly injury free in that time.

Re: Hunter Clark signs on for another 2
Big plus, Hunter Clark will be 25 next year and all going well should really hit his straps to take his game to the next level.
It remains to be seen where he will line up as both half-back spots are more or less taken by Jack Sinclair and Nasiah Wanganeen Milera. Perhaps as an outside mid to deliver the ball into the forwards, he has the disposal skills to do that well and even dob the odd goal from the 50.
The two year extension will take Cark to UFA status end 2025 but if St Kilda continue their climb up the ladder, and he plays well, he'll more than likely opt to remain at Moorabbin.

Too good a talent to let go. With a strong preseason and a decent injury-free run, his many ditractors on here will finally realise his value.
I'm very happy with his re-signing

2 years also gives us the ability to extend him before the end of next year if all is going well.

Takes him to FA
Real surprise- for someone to wait this long to resign and actually sign on. I was clearly of the opinion he was gone - got that wrong
He is talented and courageous!
Needs AFL fitness to go to the next level - it’s not up to standard atm.
Hopefully he fulfills his potential

I am pleased about this.
Has shown he has the talent, just needs a good injury-free run to rise to the next level.

Terrific.
Now if it's not asking too much, be good if Hunter became a regular goal scorer. Then we'd be cooking.

Re: Hunter Clark signs on for another 2
Curious if the RL bashers give him any credit in retaining Clark.
This time last year Clark was as good as gone. Now signed on for 2 years.
Doesn't fit the hyperbolic language and narrative some are using regarding our departing players.

You could argue this is another soft marker of the improvement in standards and professionalism at Stk
