The reason for this thread is because I think Brandon Starcevich is a dirty prick and he should have been cited by the MRO for raising his foot directly at Hunters face.
In the 3rd quarter, with 9.45 left on the clock until 3 quarter time the Saints hit the front by a goal courtesy of some quick decision making from Hunter Clark.
Hunter chose to kick to a one on one between Cooper Sharman and Jack Payne and it went deep inside 50 so it wasn't a congested forward line. Butler crumbed and it dribbled through from 15 m dead in front.
They usually show the replay of the lead up to the goal in slow motion and that's when I noticed that Hunter narrowly avoided getting Starcevich 's foot in his face.
Starcevich was charging towards him from front on. It could have been a nasty collision.
At first I couldn't make out who he was, but they showed it from another angle and I saw it was Brisbane jumper number 37.
I think Starcevich connected his foot on Clark's chest and Hunter fell down. Luckily Clark turned otherwise he may have copped a kick in the head.
It's happening way too often and Clark is being targeted because he's one of our best playmakers.
Two things need to happen I suppose. Firstly; the club need to make an official complaint. And secondly, someone in the media needs to highlight it or else it'll probably be buried at AFL house. Maybe Christian saw it and ignored it. After all, Brandon's old man is an ex team mate of Michael Christian
