Two lots of good news.

Good coaching helped
Owens into midfield in 3rd was important…gets it going our way
Crouch was superb

I agree that the coaching was good: the tactics for countering Sicily were spot on.

Owens to the midfield seemed to be less about structure and tactics and more about trying to get him more involved in a game in which he had been unusually quiet.

Crouch was amazing: lately he's been showing himself as more of a threat in attack than anyone - probably even he - realised.

NWM was amazing too, and Caminiti had one of his better games. Sharman too.

Wasn’t that an obvious move - Sharman to Sicily

He was moved onto Ben McKay last week - was always playing there.

Would rather see Windhager playing in the midfield- than across HB

Owens is clearly an inside mid who can play forward

Owens was doubtful going into the game so must be carrying an injury of sorts.

Using him in the ruck was always a cause of some concern to me.

I don't like it either. Either play a ruckman, like Campbell as second ruck, or play a unit like Cordy there to give RoMa a chop out.
