Votes v Suns
After so many disappointments and false dawns over the years, as Saints fans we just knew this pathetic performance was coming . We hoped not.. maybe they would invoke the spirit of that wonderful Saint Alan Morrow… but no. Pathetic early, and never gave a yelp.
5. Callum Wilkie . This bloke is so reliable . Stood tall all day.
4. Nasiah Wanganeen Milera. Very calm. Has reduced his errors ( can’t say that for many others ) and uses it well.
3. Cooper Sharman. Made the most of the few scraps he was offered. Marked well.
2. Jack Steele. Working his way back into form- second strong game in a row .
1. Toss up. I will go with Jack Peris. First game , in a poor team, worked hard. Encouraging .
Marcus Windhager found some form, Battle was good especially early . Owens at times. Zak Jones a bit. That is about it.

Nah, don't think I can award voted at the moment. After my red hot anger subsides, maybe then.

Re: Votes v Suns
5 NVM
4 Wilkie
3 Sharman
2 Steele
1 Jones
Peris in my votes until 3/4 time but not a possession in the the last. (Maybe not much game time)
Still he showed more than I was expecting.

You have to watch the game...
And understand the game a bit too
That's why Teflon doesn't vote

As a player, the captain tried hard all day but his on field leadership is not up to scratch. I think it's a steep learning curve and he'll learn and grow with the role.
I hope Cooper keeps his spot as a forward target in the team. Jones will be better for the run. Peris should stay in the side, but the coach will probably keep playing others (and Higgo, Gresh and Butler will be preferred).
If I could give Gresh and Butler negative votes I would

Re: Votes v Suns
Special mention to Mich Owens and Mason Wood who gave good effort...ohhhh...nearly forgot Ben Long. If I could give him a single vote ...I would.
