Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns Round 18 2023
Explain to me
How are we better than last season?
Because we were 5th at one stage??
We will finish 12/13th with about 11 wins
Some players were horrendous

Also didn't think it would be possible to have a worse start than v Eagles, but this group have managed to lower the already low bar.
Thank goodness we are well coached.
Gresham can leave now.
The rest should introduce each other and touch a footy to get the feel.
Unless Suns implode (unlikely) 60 plus point pantsing coming.
Look out kids, they keep it all hid

I’m low key hoping Harvey gets the job at Suns. We get King from Suns as our forward coach and actually have a plan going forward.

11 scoring shots against a side that was 14th lol
Well….welcome to the bottom 4 for the next 10 years.
Deserve to be kicked out of the comp (and would be if the AFL didn’t prop them up since they can’t get their affairs in order).

Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns Round 18 2023
Fumbles fumbles fumbles, missed handballs, dumb kicks, outclassed and outworked at stoppages, dropped marks, no cohesion. An overall lack of class.
The only positive from here is that our younger guys continue to get game time.
Every week since round 5 our midfield has been beaten. In some quarters they barely touch the ball. It's a pretty big elephant, and we're getting horribly exposed

Part 2
Thread suggestions for New Topics
The players will be paid their full weekly wages and so will Ross Lyon...but everyone is really hurting
Rowan is one of my favourite players, but Ross and Lenny are setting up the team for these sorts of losses if they think we can go for a full season with only 1 recognised ruck. Especially against the monsters like Witts
Great strategy leaving out Hunter Clark from the starting lineup even though he's one of our most effective clearance players.
Brad Crouch and Jack Steele have been ordinary at their main role and have been beaten at centre clearance...but I'll bet my balls they both line up in the middle for the most centre bounces again next week.
Clearances lost 40-27
Stoppage clearances we were smashed 30-19

Thank **** the club know this
I’ve said a thousand times
Waste of time playing finals with this lot
Drop out
Hit the draft
Fortunately the axe will come and that midfield better get an overhaul
I’ll go spare if we spend all on TDK and leave that midfield rabble in place

BONUS was watching young Peris debut. Didn't disgrace himself, in fact he played better and tried harder than some more fancied team mates.
