Despite our list woes, he’s been a trooper.

He’s busting his guts and his 1%s have been terrific.

Even though he gets pinged holding ball at times, at least he’s prepared to take the game on.

Hill looked ok but Battle looked like he'd been in brawl

He did a massive smother on the boundary that amazed me.
Also, he put his body over the ball in between 2 Eagles and wore the contact- where last yr under Cuddles, he would never have got close, as an outside player.
He was outnumbered but his effort stopped them, resulted in a ball-up

I’ve certainly been critical of Hill since he arrived (and rightly so IMO) but this year I think he has been one of our top consistent performers and can hold his head up high in a lot of games where many of his team mates can’t.

Agreed. He had an uninspiring start to his career at the Saints and copped a lot of flack - some certainly warranted, maybe some unfair.

However, he has been very good this season. Using his experience and speed to advantage. Very much a needed player.

He’s been solid this season as a high half forward.

Played most of his footy last couple of years at HB and played some great games but was inconsistent

We’ve been a bit ordinary since, some players have been alright though. Sinclair has been playing at a high level all season

Hill has been far far more physical in his defensive efforts compared to “choose your own pre season adventures” from previous coaches …
Now why would that be….?
