Curious coaching move to drag Byrnesy after his gut run effort to mark, take the late hit and still goal. Ronnie comes into his own late because of his endurance.
If you think he is not going to contribute enough early you probably shouldn't pick him to start. He has had good cameos late. Maybe better forward than wing?

I think the call was made before the goal. He was definitely the option to sub out at that point of the game.
