Sincs can only be 5+4. No other combination possible…obviouslyperfectionist wrote: ↑Tue 13 Jun 2023 11:32am 9 Jack Sinclair (STK)

That leaves 1 more 5 vote …and 1 more 4 vote
If you allocate a 5 to Florent it doesn’t work. It’s impossible for Florent to get a single 5 vote.
If you give Florent a single 5 vote it messes with the combinations for Nasiah.
Therefore Oli Florent got 4+1.
Sincs 5+4
Owens 5+2
Nas 3+3
Florent 4+1
Crouch 2
Wilkie 1

Re: Coaches Votes Round 13 v Swans
Interesting that one coach rated Crouch’s 33 touches and the other couldn’t fit him in for votes. I wonder how the umpires will vote in this game when it comes to the Brownlow.
The guys who can take contested marks stand out to me like Owens and Marshall …or players who have an impact at critical moments like Sinclair, Nasiah and Wilkie (all create opportunities for scoring chains with their precision kicking) and to a lesser extent Marshall and Steele who also have an impact on changing the momentum of the game.
The leading possession winner for us at the final siren was Crouch but in my opinion he had minimal impact up until half time in stopping the opposition from scoring or being involved himself in scoring chains. He kept at it all day with pressure and tackling and his second half was more meaningful because he actually got a few kicks that hit their target.
Crouch is a workhorse. He is a role model (as is Seb Ross) for their leadership and the efforts, but they need more polish and clean possessions out of stoppages if they are going to catch the eye of the umps or the coaches

Re: Coaches Votes Round 13 v Swans
I think the coaches' votes are much closer to the mark than several of our voters in the Saintsational Player of the year.
I was astounded several couldn't even fit Sinclair into our top five players. I am not sure what game they were watching.
