I was wrong
I didn’t think we would have a chance at overrunning the Swans, especially given that disaster against the Hawks, our history against the Seans and Buddy’s milestone.
But, when the game was there to be won, our leaders stood up in Crouch, Seb, Sincs, Steele, Hill, Marshall, Wilkie and even Howard. All put in %s which got us over the line.
Well done. Didn’t repeat the modern St Kilda pattern of wilting under pressure. The fans are proud of you.

Re: I was wrong
At one stage 20 points behind then in the last quarter 20 points in front before the Swans last goal. All in all a f****** good effort

Re: I was wrong
Finally our midfield cranked into gear in the second half. I reckon Ross blasted them at half time. Hopefully, that will be the standard from hereon.
Our midfield is still an issue, though

Possibly Steele and Ross given a severe rocket.
The move of Windhager on Chad helped a lot.
and of course Owens.

Re: I was wrong
Sincs, Wilkie, did their thing.
I was impressed that Max was on the bench for a bit, sore, but wanted to go back in to make his mark.
And he did.
Unlike Steele who played vs Blues when he wasn't fit.
OWENS did a saving mark down back, like Skunk.
He's the new hearrbeat of the team.
You can see how the others luv him, he seems to be cheeky.

Lol as good as Owens was I don’t think he was why the side came out second half and took it to themSainter_Dad wrote: ↑Fri 09 Jun 2023 5:19pmOwensTeflon wrote: ↑Fri 09 Jun 2023 3:27pmWould they have responded like that last year when challenged????SydneySainter wrote: ↑Fri 09 Jun 2023 3:23pm I didn’t think we would have a chance at overrunning the Swans, especially given that disaster against the Hawks, our history against the Seans and Buddy’s milestone.
