Beating Tigers, Hawks twice each, beating Norf again, losing to Dees, Cats, maybe Swans, Lions...
Will 14 get us into the 8?
In our current form we will only beat Hawthorn (twice), West Coast, North, Carlton and Richmond.
14 Wins

That's 13 wins. That means finals in my book and makes sensesamuraisaint wrote: ↑Tue 16 May 2023 8:41pmGiants too mate.darylcowie wrote: ↑Mon 08 May 2023 7:20pmYes it will get us into the eight easily, but I think we will only win 12 games, which will make it tough.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Mon 08 May 2023 2:59pm I have us at 14 wins.

We have an improved line up and we only just missed out on finals in 2022.
I reckon Owens, Windy, and NAS are better - the additions of Pou and Hammer as well.
I'm bullish!! Book me in for finals then

Re: 14 Wins
Be nice to win two in a row for a start.
We are not travelling well at the moment, going at 40% on recent form with lead weights.
Some serious problems need resolving asap before finals enters credible consideration.
Can't score enough from opportunities, too many turnovers to be a finals side.
Max will be a big lift but a lot need to up their games.

Re: 14 Wins
Stocker was invited to train with us in December 22 and signed on on January 20th.
Silvagni joined the Saints on 15.2.23.
He can certainly take credit for recruiting Caminiti, or at least his son Jack can.
I read in HS (I think) SOS was talking to Jack after an internal practice match (Carlton VFL & AFL) and Jack said that Caminiti had played really well on Weitering. The injury to Max and this call between father and son prompted the Saints inviting Caminiti to train.

Hey Otiman
I think this year it will be 16 for a top 4 finish and that is with a good %

No one is taking credit for any of this.
Karma has seen enough.
It may not be this year but our second flag is coming.

Yep, Let's do our best to beat Brisbane and let the results work themselves out and go into the finals red hot, whether it be a win or have an honorable loss.Saintmike65 wrote: ↑Wed 10 May 2023 9:18am One week at a time…total waste of time trying to crystal ball results!

Re: After Round 3 Predictions

Ideally close to full strength in 6 weeks.
Win 2-3 of those next 6, we'll be on 5-6wins, with 14 to go.
Win 8-9 of those last 14....
13-15 wins.
Finish 6th to 8th.
But if we can maintain and build on current momentum.....
Last 2 games against Geelong and Brisbane could (will) be huge.
