I want to win tomorrow.
However - even if we do not - as long as we don't lose by 6 goals plus we will stay on top of the ladder!

I want us to wear the 150 heritage jumper in the Grannie this year.
And for the Higgo collar salute to be mandatory for the first goal kicked in each quarter.

Re: I want to win tomorrow.
One of the hallmarks of Ross 101, is that oppositions don't have blow out first quarters against his teams. Rather, it is an even and consistent 4 quarter plan. Last week he said the team got "cute" at the end, in other words, took shortcuts and stopped the hard grind to have numbers at the fall of the ball.
We are yet to see how we respond to a dominant first quarter by opposition midfielders. There is no more reason to expect it this week than in the previous weeks, but it will come. We saw this last night in the PA/WB game and the WB game plan completely fell apart and they became a rabble - within the space of just 5 minutes. The best way to ward off such an attack, is to take your chances. I think we have improved in that area this year.

Re: I want to win tomorrow.
One thing we can be certain about is that our players will feel they have nothing to lose, while the Pies will be feeling a little nervous and uncertain about playing us. If we can stay close early on - or better still, get goal or two ahead - the pressure on them will begin to mount.
Alternatively, if they can shock us early on with a string of goals, some of our younger players will lose confidence and we will struggle.
We're sort of in the weird position of being simultaneously a team that nobody really takes seriously as final contenders, but one that is currenlty on top of the table.

Re: I want to win tomorrow.
well spare a thought for me....I hate the skunks with a passion.(it maybe bordering on a sickness.I may need help )...Scarred from the vic park days.
each week there are 2 games I watch with a passion....a Collingwood loss and a Saints win.
I have a lot of emotional baggage riding on this one.
