Re: Predictions this Round
My prediction is
The games result will not be determined until the second half of the fourth quarter.
Last weeks game was secured half way through the 3rd, this one will go down to the wire. Hard fought until the end.

Re: Predictions this Round
Jack Higgins awarded a controversial free for holding the man when he clearly dropped the ball. Goals from the goal square too put the Saints in front as the final siren sounds. Field umpires seen later that night shouting victorious Saints players drinks in an Adelaide night club.

Re: Predictions this Round
I'm going with the team that's in winning form
We'll start well and get out to a 5 goal lead at stages in the second quarter
Butler first goal
Gresham most goals for Saints
Seb Ross to get over 30
Brad Hill best on ground
Collingwood will come with a late rush but we'll hold them out and win by 9 points

Re: Predictions this Round
This one is very hard to predict. But, at least on paper, the Pies look extremely dangerous. If we are to win, several of their stars will need to have off nights. And we’ll need to be absolutely ruthless at taking our chances.

Re: Predictions this Round
A bit of wishful thinking:
Windhager holds Naicos to 20 under-pressure possessions and ends up with 20 valuable possessions himself.
De Goey has an average game.
Saints by 25 points.

Re: Predictions this Round
Higgo to be our top scorer and further strengthen his hold on winning the leading goal kicker of the year.
Couch to win more points to strengthen his hold on winning this years TB medal.
Cordy to be subbed off after half time and attract even louder cries from the fringe section of the fan base for him to be executed in the town square, but not really understand why they feel that way, but take comfort in knowing others feel the same way.

Re: Predictions this Round
My predilection for St Kilda for over 60 years has taught me that it is never wise to make a prediction about the outcome of a game, least of all against arch-enemy the filth....hope, absolutely, expectation, low.

Re: Predictions this Round
Cometh the hour, cometh the Showman. Phillipou to announce his arrival in his home state in front of a sold out Adelaide Oval - Rising Star nomination for this round ensues.
NWM & Phillipou to make the SA crowd salivate!
Will be a worthy match of the round: Hill / Ginnivan & Elliott V Gresham, Butler & Higgins. Whichever of these three kick the most goals, their side wins.
