Re: 150th year heritage jumper
The absolute ultimate design would be to remove the sponsorship logos AND the AFL logo to represent the 1966 as an exact replica.
The club should consider this as an alternative, they should also make it as a button up shirt with long sleeves in a dress shirt style that could be worn to restaurants and dinner parties and weddings etc.
Would appeal to the older demographic big time and the young fellas trying to impress the ladies.
Might get in touch with the marketing department, it's been a while since we caught up for a think tank.

Re: 150th year heritage jumper
I like the regular 2023 jumper too. I thought it would be a bit empty without the ribbon below but it is kind of elegant - which for our loud colours and their boldness, is saying something…relative.
I often wonder how many more jumpers the club would sell without the logos…they are asking us to buy an ad. Which is understandable but kind of cold. I guess if they sponsor us, they are a part of the club right?
I suppose nobody without a commercial arrangement can make knock off St Kilda clothes/jumpers in whatever styles they like and sell them. Another no no.. I guess..
Maybe your grandma can knit you a scarf but that is about it? Can you sell it at the school fete?
I guess not. Saul Goodman will be watching and ready to pounce!
And limiting.

That's a joke isn't it? Surely you are taking the piss as no one would wear a Saints jumper to a wedding, no matter the style.Vortex wrote: ↑Thu 23 Mar 2023 11:09am

Not a fan of the CMC logo being so big.
I know the AFL signed off on it, but it's pushed the crest down as an afterthought.
Why can't it go onto the back on top of the GPS sender?

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Yeah agree, I get it's all about the cash but would be heaps better without the logos, including the AFL logo..WellardSaint wrote: ↑Thu 23 Mar 2023 8:21pm Not a fan of the CMC logo being so big.

Putting s*** on the saints or their jumper is pretty poor form but par for the course where you are involved

Re: 150th year heritage jumper
You do realise everyone but yourself realises I wasn't putting s*** on our jumper, like I said, it was humorous banter so I get you you don't get it, love you though Stinga, don't go changing, one day I'd like to have a big hug and a cup of tea with you.saynta wrote: ↑Thu 23 Mar 2023 8:54pmNot hard to pick at all cairnsman.Vortex wrote: ↑Thu 23 Mar 2023 8:44pmSheez you are good Stringa, nothing gets past you aye, yeah it was a joke but I get why you found it hard to pick.saynta wrote: ↑Thu 23 Mar 2023 8:11pmThat's a joke isn't it? Agree. The crest looks like an iron on afterthought.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Thu 23 Mar 2023 8:21pm Not a fan of the CMC logo being so big.

Not "Simon Templar". He was here first. Please change my username to Bumstead and if possible make me one of those very large sandwiches, thanks!
