Club isn’t in a position to trade out its first round draft pick and won’t be for a few years.

Correct. However, we can reassess our pay scales and build a 3 year nest egg, via the draft. Then we spend 3 years, starting in 2022, developing young leaders on a proven game plan philosophy and relatively low cost saleries, get rid of our perpetual injury listed players by execution or rest, and not drop down the ladder for too long.

Having a top 5 pick in next year's draft, provided our % does drop too low, will offer us all manner of possibilities
