Nice guy according to my better 2/3. He’s one of the personal trainers at her work.
He’s very open and friendly.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

My missus says the same.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

I hear Western Sainters have secured a pair of M. Woods size 12s. Will be raffled during the season. Loris, you need to buy a book of tickets.

Re: Mason's press conference
Ha. An anonymous internet forum? I’d imagine the comments would be rife tbh from steamed up blokes. Only have to see the comments on here about Caro when many disagree. They can’t help but comment on her looks or perceived lack of. I’ve read complimentary comments about women’s looks when talking about Fox Footy commentators as well
Now if ‘Loris’ made this same comment as a respected footy journalist I think people would be right to be outraged

Well nobody has told any lies about Caro's looks from memory and since when has telling the truth been a sin.?Moods wrote: ↑Sat 11 Mar 2023 10:31amHa. An anonymous internet forum? She's certainly no oil painting.
Some posters need to lighten up. I see nothing wrong with Loris' comment FFS.

Yet if someone refers to your age you become defensive. Imagine if they used the same defence as you just used…the truth.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 11 Mar 2023 10:38amWell nobody has told any lies about Caro's looks from memory and since when has telling the truth been a sin.?Moods wrote: ↑Sat 11 Mar 2023 10:31amHa. And if you read my comment properly you’d see I saw no problem with what Loris wrote either…on an internet forum.

Show me a post of mine where I became defensive about an ageist comment.Moods wrote: ↑Sat 11 Mar 2023 11:01amYet if someone refers to your age you become defensive. I was curious so I used the search page with the terms 'saynta' and ageist.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 11 Mar 2023 11:57amShow me a post of mine where I became defensive about an ageist comment.Moods wrote: ↑Sat 11 Mar 2023 11:01amYet if someone refers to your age you become defensive. Re: Mason's press conference
Yes sad isn’t it 1971 our sensitivities are so fragile these days?
What has amused me on occasions, there have been posters in this fan forum being morally outraged on some gender issues. Which is ok, & I think good on them having empathy for what females have (since Adam was a pup) put up with as par for the course when it comes to humour.
Then, as is my wont, I check them out in the General Forum in that JLH thread and surprise, surprise for a couple they are as sexist as it comes. IMO, it depends on where & who they think their audience/reader is when they trot out their moral indignities.
I s’pose that’s the way it is on the internet- easy to be a chameleon eh?

I didn’t take it that way at all. You were just making a comment that I agree with.

Re: Mason's press conference
Now that creates a quandary for me.
Do I go with a big bag full of cash to buy up all the tickets? Or, do I max the credit card out, in the hope of having the winning ticket?
Or, I could write a cheque? Yep, I’m that old and still have as cheque book.

Or you could just contact the club - ask to buy a pair of his boots and get them autographed. Win - Winloris wrote: ↑Sat 11 Mar 2023 7:37pmNow that creates a quandary for me.
