The gun youngsters
I went to training today open minded as always on what will transpire.
I really like what I see regarding the progress of our 4 gun youngsters.
1. Windhager- this kid is really going to be a big player in the comp..tough, skilled, driven, elite endurance,
2. Owens - extremely strong, great overhead and will provide an important role up forward.
3. NWM - covers the ground like Winmar, beautifully balanced, elite kicking & decision maker, Nas will provide real class across half back.
4. Phillipou- I’m still confident he’ll be in our 23 come round 1.
Confident, driven, great work ethic & determination to be the best, Mattaes will be, like Owens, an important player forward of centre.

Its a shame we wont see Hotton for a while as I believe he may have surprised a few also. I think in years ahead we will look back at the past two years recruiting and appreciate that it set us up for something special.

Indeed…I’ve also got high hopes for Keeler & Van Es but we’ll need to be patient with them!Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Mon 16 Jan 2023 11:34pm Its a shame we wont see Hotton for a while as I believe he may have surprised a few also. I saw young McLennan up close yesterday, he’s a nice size & someone to keep an eye on at Sandringham.

Keeler if fit would be a interesting prospect and would be interesting to watch.
Also Oscar Adams I see was working with Campbell and the ruck group so he might be destine to play there and what of heath heard nothing much about him.
