Top disposal talles past 5 years.
Seb Ross features prominently for the Saints with three of the top four entries, all coming in 2018 and 2019.
Jack Steele’s career-best 40 touches last season rockets him up the list. The captain has several other entries.
Brad Crouch is in there four times after crossing from the Crows, ex-Swan Zak Jones is in the mix, reigning best and fairest Jack Sinclair has an entry, as does Jimmy Webster.

Re: Top disposal talles past 5 years.
Well,
He did give Dusty a bath in a game in 2019
You know, that year he won the B&F and didn’t deserve it
But who compared him to Dusty anyway? Dusty will go down as an AFL legend… that is such a stupid comment.
Look, no one suggests Seb is a elite top liner in the AFL
There are few of them - maybe 15-20 across the AFL
But is a dual club champion - he has been a more than solid performer since 2015 and deserves a lot more respect than clueless fans give him, particularly on this site!
And to get 40+ in an AFL game is a significant achievement- no matter which way you spin it

I suspect not
He’s a solid B-C grader who on his day accumulates ball and who can also kick it 25 meters in the air as he lacks penetration by foot.
Nice guy though.
It’s not a hard question…

Re: Top disposal talles past 5 years.
If pure possessions are the measurement then I find it interesting Tom Mitchell was initially dropped / ignored and then moved on by Hawthorn. A Brownlow medallist, with plenty of historical votes, Brownlow and B&Fs. I'm sure he'd feature high in these tallies.
Perhaps clubs are looking for more than just possessions. It will be interesting to see how he goes at Collingwood and whether Collingwood are happy with a pure accumulator.
I suspect RTB will love Seb's work ethic & rate. It will be interesting to see how Ross uses Ross.

Re: Top disposal talles past 5 years.
Are you saying Tom Mitchell is not a great player?
2 X AA
3 X B&F
Brownlow Medal
No one who gets 40+ hasn’t had a big impact on that game
Accumulators are very important
When you’ve got the ball - the other team does not

Re: Top disposal talles past 5 years.
Let’s make a little wager
If fit
Ross plays in the seniors
Didn’t we beat Geelong - with Ross in the midfield?
How did that happen??

Re: Top disposal talles past 5 years.
Acknowledging what likkle iw,
I think Seb would get a game in Cats team, if for no other reason than Dangerfield has to be used in short spells and that guy with the head bandages has retired. However he would look better, be better used and have the choices of Cameron, Hawkings or Stengle or Cross to aim for when running fwd with the pill and amazingly several of those spread and lead for players coming toward them. Cats ruck set ups are far better than ours as well.
Seb is a great competitor and athlete however just does not score often himself or create sure thing assists enough. Be surprised if Ross Lyon doesn't use him differently to Ratts.

Re: Top disposal talles past 5 years.
Did I say that? Read and comprehend B.M., stop framing your questions to suit your point of view that football is all about Brownlows, possessions and B&F votes - I acknowledged that in my post or the post I suspect you are replying to.
It seems Hawthorn no longer see his value for all his Brownlows, AAs and B&Fs. Again, I will be interested to see how he plays at Collingwood and how Collingwood play him - possibly an astute pick up for a Top 4 side, time will tell.
Mitchell & O'Meara joined Hawthorn at the end of their three peat and for all their awards and accolades have now been moved on as Hawthorn slid down the ladder. They have chosen to bottom out, good luck to them. After their era, they can afford that, rather than tread water outside the 8.
