AFL Fixture for the Saints - Thank you to Saints TV
Thank you to Jake at Saints TV.
Unbelievably we don't play Geelong at Geelong or Port away!!!!
We play North, the Blues, the Suns and Hawthorn twice! All the games against North, Blues and Hawks are at Marvel!!
We don't play Freo in Perth!

Full fixture in the Heraldsun website. Pretty good for us. Tough finish but it will toughen us up for the finals

Re: AFL Fixture for the Saints - Thank you to Saints TV
Not playing Geelong at Geelong, Port in Adelaide, Essendon twice, or Fremantle in Perth are all good outcomes for us.
North, Hawthorn, the Suns and the Blues twice are all games we can win - and 7 of those will be at Marvel stadium which should suit Rossy Lyon's game style.
Even the sides we do play twice that are tricky, like Richmond and Brisbane are teams that traditionally we do beat, so we are in with chances in all four of those too.

If you’re already a signed up member for 2023, you don’t need to get this info from outside sources. The Club has sent out an e-mail to Members with the fixture for the Saints for 2023. Well done Saints admin for keeping members in the loop early. Good signs change is in the air re info to members.samuraisaint wrote: ↑Sat 10 Dec 2022 5:43pm Thank you to Jake at Saints TV.

really hope our away game against gc is at metricon. likely cairns, but fingers crossed. could see them twice in a year without having to travel more than an hour.

I saw this on youtube before I got anything from the club and we have four members here. I didn't get the fixture from the club until 9 am this morning.loris wrote: ↑Sun 11 Dec 2022 1:25pmIf you’re already a signed up member for 2023, you don’t need to get this info from outside sources. Re: AFL Fixture for the Saints - Thank you to Saints TV
Are the Suns selling their home game? I think one year we were fixtured to play them in Darwin, but because that was in 2020, it ended up being played at Metricon. In 2018 their home game against us was moved to Townsville for the Commonwealth Games, I seem to remember. I think they will make sure we play them on the Gold Coast next year. They haven't beaten us for years and they have all been close games.desertsaint wrote: ↑Sun 11 Dec 2022 5:14pm fantastic for us. what's going on?

Re: AFL Fixture for the Saints - Thank you to Saints TV
As evidence i present the 2022 fixture. a team finishing outside the 8 got what was expected to be the fifth hardest fixture, turned out to be the hardest fixture of them all.

A lot of supporters will be unhappy with how easy our fixture is.
All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.

Funny how we think it's an easy season but in reality for the first time for ages we have a fair fixture,

Yes we play GC at Metricon. Excellent. Easy trip up the highway for me.desertsaint wrote: ↑Sun 11 Dec 2022 5:14pm fantastic for us. what's going on?

The last four are in theory tough but three of them are at Marvel. Only the last one away at the Gabba.

Re: AFL Fixture for the Saints - Thank you to Saints TV
Play twice: Brisbane, Carlton, Gold Coast, Hawthorn, North Melbourne, Richmond
First four: Fremantle (H), Western Bulldogs (A), Essendon (H), Gold Coast (H)
Last three: Richmond (H), Geelong (H), Brisbane (A)
Bye: Round 12
Degree of difficulty: 63 (equal 12th hardest)
What the club says: "It's great to have the fixture confirmed so we can start our planning, both on and off the field. Having seven of our first eight games in Melbourne is a great way to start the year and something we'll be hoping to capitalise on." – CEO Simon Lethlean

I think the one's who will find it very "Tough" are the StK marketing department who have to try and sell Sunday night blockbusters like StK v Frem, StK v Nth to companies to entertain their clients in front of.saynta wrote: ↑Mon 12 Dec 2022 10:36am Tough for some:

A. You think those people come for the footy? It's the free drinks, food, privilege and networking.Sebastian Tombs wrote: ↑Mon 12 Dec 2022 12:32pmI think the one's who will find it very "Tough" are the StK marketing department who have to try and sell Sunday night blockbusters like StK v Frem, StK v Nth to companies to entertain their clients in front of.saynta wrote: ↑Mon 12 Dec 2022 10:36am Tough for some:

Jake got onto it well before the club did. If anything the club should get him on the payroll considering how much heavy lifting he does on their behalf!loris wrote: ↑Sun 11 Dec 2022 1:25pmIf you’re already a signed up member for 2023, you don’t need to get this info from outside sources.
