Haven’t you heard the stories of what KFC staff do to the chickens before the put them in the deep fryer.
Good fried chicken and fries would be part of my last meal but it wouldn’t be from KFC.
There used to be a place near me called The Art of Fried Chicken. It was so good.
I occasionally have a charcoal chicken.

Vegan diets can still include highly processed foods, whole plant based diet not so much...takes it back a bit more to when our knuckles dragged along the ground.

Did you catch the research uncovering the fact that 75% of Covid deaths were fat people, apparently the virus mutates faster in fat cells.

Eating Charcoal chicken may result in mutinogenic chemicals forming, increasing your chances of suffering from cancer. The cancer council recommends you avoid charring food while cooking.SaintPav wrote: ↑Sat 26 Nov 2022 9:39am

Sanctorum yes 1966 ‘I’m a Believer’, was appropriate anthem for us Sainters during that glorious year!Sanctorum wrote: ↑Fri 25 Nov 2022 6:26pm This song by The Monkees topped the charts......... in 1966

However, didn’t The Monkees have a follow up hit, ‘Daydream Believer’? Methinks that’s now the dirge for the hapless Saint supporters who have never experienced the ultimate prize as we did

No I didn’t see that particular research. I’ve read plenty of other research though and a few of us at work have done our statistical analysis (bayesian and regression) using raw data sets.

It actually started on 4 October when Geoff Walsh came out with a home truth that St Kilda FC was quite irrelevant in the AFL, put it in a nutshell!
I understand that some supporters will continue to have doubts about that this massive shake-up will result in our footy team improving in 2023.
But I for one am quite certain that something had to be done to change the dynamics, because after showing a glimpse of promise in 2020, which raised our hopes, the team has languished badly in 2021 and 2022.
All of the AFL journos who initially criticised the club for sacking yet another coach went on to concede that under Ross Lyon the team wil more than likely imrove in 2023.
That analysis is correct because in both 2021 (10/12) and 2022 (11/11) the team showed quite good form to finish just short of the 8, a position that St Kilda supporters by and large reckoned wasn't too bad!
Would Brett Ratten have been able to get the team to do better than that and play finals in 2023?
We'll never know, but I think there'e little doubt that the change from Ratten to Lyon, combined with the return of Hayes, Harvey and Goddard, plus David Misson, will most definitely get the players to lift their performance off and on the track, and combined with different game plans see them win at least 3 or 4 more games next year.
I'm quite sure the marketing execs at the club's commercial sponsors had the same view Vortex, because above all they like to see positive stories about St Kilda appear in the media, I would even argue that the profiles of Lyon, Hayes, Harvey and Goddard are so much more dynamic than of those who represented the club in recent years.
my faith has turned me full agnostic, show me a cup and I'll believe.

We mapped mortality rates across OECD countries against other factors for the last few years using linear regression. The p value results were startling though the precise causes are inconclusive. It warrants further investigation which is beyond our capacity. I’ll leave it here.Vortex wrote: ↑Sat 26 Nov 2022 11:24amwhat were you modelling? and what results did you get? and conclusions?
