I notice that St Kilda has the fewest delistings of any club = 2!
5,6, and even 8 at other clubs.
Ya think RL's appointment changed the delisting scenario?

He'll turn up to Gil's annual dinner with an expensive bottle of red
And... he doesn't have to rely on his next big real estate deal to pay for his kids education

It’s a bit misleading though… we’ve had a fair bit of turnover as it were:shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Mon 14 Nov 2022 12:45am I notice that St Kilda has the fewest delistings of any club = 2!

And that indigenous lad who pulled the pin on an AFL career early in the season. I can’t recall his name, maybe Kyle was his first name?. I think he gets included in the numbers off our list this season.skeptic wrote: ↑Mon 14 Nov 2022 9:25amIt’s a bit misleading though… we’ve had a fair bit of turnover as it were:shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Mon 14 Nov 2022 12:45am I notice that St Kilda has the fewest delistings of any club = 2!

Codswallop!
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Concur
Steele was fine early season not his usual output but I don’t think he’s a natural leader to be honest and felt it at times
Always tries never in doubt

Exactly, what I thought too. Steeled is just fine thank you, but…not the leader ..and our infield leadership is so poor. Geary couldn’t do it, just couldn’t execute simple kicks and marks. Impossible to lead. Good for empathy tho..Teflon wrote: ↑Thu 24 Nov 2022 9:00pmConcur

…but the caveat is culture!! If he is swimming in the marshmallows of empathy and not taking the bill by the horns. Don’t get me wrong - I am a melted marshmallow. Burnt to a crisp, but I didn’t see Steele leading. I don’t agree with Vort about rotating - but he’s having a tickle and tug there. Did we have a real captain here? Maybe Brad Hill? I’m serious.

More Codswallop. How did we go when Steele was injured? Did your leadership picks step up to the mark? I don’t recall they did.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Thu 24 Nov 2022 9:43pmExactly, what I thought too. Steele is exactly what a leader is
Selfless, gives enormous effort, courageous and leads by example
What is a great leader?
Not an elite two way running consistent high production mid?

He let things get on top of him a couple of times in games through the second half of tbe season, but to fair he was in a sea of hopelessness, just watching King consistently drop his bottom lip would make it hard.

Yeah it's ya typical professional response from an AFL captain....happens all the time when coach and captain aren't in agreement. I think throwing your toys outa the cot is part of their elite sport leadership training. The Fireman wrote: ↑Sat 26 Nov 2022 4:40pmthings like that can happen in a poorly coached side.
