Roughead
What does he actually do?
Is he a coach? Is he in administration? Is he a recruiter?
WTF does he actually do
IMO
Either be a line or development (forwards) coach or piss off!
Do something tangible!!!
From what I can see, the only big thing he’s done at StK is bust a guy’s leg and almost fk his career!

Re: Roughead
Probably the first question RTB asked him yesterday, RTB's official start date.
Roughy has stated he wants to move into list management, that doesn't mean that will occur at the saints.
Will we pick up a player in the SSP window

There are a few different techniques holding the whiteboard. Are you sure you’re up to it

Re: Roughead
Apart from breaking Paton’s leg, he hasn’t done much.
He should have suited up. Has gone to waste in the coach’s box.

Re: Roughead
You are all so mean. Ratts brought him in so the boys could see a Premiership tall in the flesh, an embodiment of the "why not us thought bubble" period. He doesn't do anything, he's there as a reference point, a prop, a visual aid. Sort of like having a Budda statue's tummy to pat as you run out.
Didn't work, but nice thought.
The whiteboard he holds reads 'pat me if you haven't laid a tackle yet or just need a spark "

Interested as to how anyone on here knows what he does and also why do we need to know.

Re: Roughead
Some SS posters need to know what he does, because at the moment they don't know what to blame him for.

Re: Roughead
No one knows what he does and that's why we want to know. With all of the pressure around the soft cap, it's more important (and interesting) than ever to have a basic understanding of what those with seemingly significant roles are doing.

Re: Roughead
It was reported during the year that Jarryd Roughead was an assistant to Danny Sexton who has been Head of Football Operations since 2019 - presumably Sexton has finally been turfed after an eternity because Geoff Walsh is now the Supremo of all things football, Roughead's destiny has not been clarified yet.

Re: Roughead
It would allow greater transparency and accountability metrics amongst stakeholders (paying members) for a start but if you’re happy to live under a dune then joy to you. I think everyone else’s role in the footy dept is pretty clearly defined so I don’t understand why Roughy is an exemption.CURLY wrote: ↑Thu 03 Nov 2022 11:40amAgain, why do we need to be told?

Re: Roughead
Actually if no one knows what Roughy's role is it possibly means he is the smartest guy at the club.
Really really smart if all the while he is not doing anything.
Can't be criticised for not performing if you have no role.
Let the conners con.

It’s like that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer was going to work and didn’t actually work there.
