On the subject of Joey last year on fox footy it was said that he was offered a job I think by Clarkson doing analysis and decided to stay in media I wonder if he’s another who may be around the club a bit more down the track

After he retired (from North) Joey was doing opposition analysis for Freo...... I think it was only of the Victorian based clubs as he was also working for Fox footy at the the time. It may have been during the last season or two of Lyon’s time at Freo. At the time, I thought why didn’t the Saints pick him up for that role, not Freo?
I was surprised as I recall Richo saying during one interview that Joey had the best football brain of any player he had come across. He always sort Joey’s opinion on the state of a game during quarter breaks. I often wondered what Roo thought of Richo’s comment that time?????
