Esava Ratugolea
Word has it, he is a priority over someone like Weideman to fill the shoes of Ryder. Yes, big shoes to fill, but I’m hopeful we’ll get Ratugolea, as I can see him working out pretty well for us. He’s only 24 and hopefully could take his chances with us to be a pretty serviceable player.
I can’t imagine Geelong would be asking for much in return. Maybe a third round pick (future or present), since they are now the reigning premiers and feeling generous lol

Re: Esava Ratugolea
I have been on his band wagon for 6 months, but he is contracted and Geelong would want to keep him as depth. Same as Weideman being contracted it sounds their clubs dont want to lose them, if we get either for a future 3rd rounder it would be a win. Having said that I would prefer Ratogulea and would consider giving a late 2nd round for him.Sainternist wrote: ↑Thu 06 Oct 2022 1:05pm Word has it, he is a priority over someone like Weideman to fill the shoes of Ryder. Seriously? How the heck does Port get so much interest? They were absolute garbage this year and Ken Hinkley stinks of pig manure!

Re: Esava Ratugolea
HS states he played as a key defender in the VFL this season and went well.
Intimates that’s where Port will play him.
Key forward, back up ruck at the Saints may be attractive.
Got athleticism and something about him, but may just be a complete spud as well.
